Limone Piemonte is preparing to celebrate Easter in a way that breaks with tradition. Over the weekend of April 4 to 6, 2026, the town center will be transformed into a vibrant open-air setting, where artisan crafts, live music, and Alpine traditions come together. The first edition of the Easter markets is designed to mark the transition from winter to spring, blending entertainment with a strong sense of local identity.
Easter markets 2026 in Limone Piemonte: dates, programme and what to expect
For three days, the historic center of Limone Piemonte will host more than 60 exhibitors, with stalls and installations spread throughout its streets. At the heart of the event is a market dedicated to handcrafted goods and local specialties, particularly active on Sunday and Monday. Visitors will find handmade creations, Easter decorations, and a selection of regional food products.
The programme is varied and designed for a broad audience, combining roaming performances, live music, and activities scheduled throughout the day. It offers an opportunity to experience Limone from a different perspective, beyond its well-known role as a ski destination.
Events for families and children: egg hunt, workshops, and entertainment
Families are a central focus of the event. Throughout the weekend, activities such as target games, prize fishing, and performances by clowns and entertainers will be available. One of the most anticipated moments is the Easter egg treasure hunt on Sunday morning, which will turn the town center into a large interactive playground.
Alongside this, an Easter egg decorating workshop will provide younger visitors with a creative and engaging space. Educational and recreational initiatives will also take place at the Ski Museum Library, with themed activities designed to encourage curiosity and social interaction.
Live music and performances: the weekend comes alive in the historic centre
The programme also includes entertainment aimed at a wider audience. On Saturday evening, Piazza del Municipio will host a concert by the Zucchero Sugar Band, a tribute to Italian artist Zucchero Fornaciari, creating a lively and convivial atmosphere.
On Monday, the streets will become the stage for roaming performances featuring musicians, stilt walkers, and jugglers. Altogether, the event highlights Limone’s ambition to position itself as an Alpine destination capable of offering cultural and entertainment experiences even outside the peak season.
Alpine flavours and local products: what to eat at the markets
Alongside craftsmanship, local gastronomy plays a central role. Among the most popular offerings are apple fritters, a traditional sweet associated with village festivities, along with other mountain specialties. The food stalls will offer visitors a journey through authentic flavours, showcasing the region’s best.
Limone Piemonte between tourism and seasonality
The Easter markets also represent an important step in the area’s strategy to promote tourism year-round. Through initiatives like this, along with projects such as “My Limone Agenda”, Limone aims to attract visitors throughout the year.
During the event, a free guide will be distributed, providing visitors with a practical tool for exploring the area and encouraging longer, more conscious stays.
